Prize Winners 2011

The jury of the Brandenburg Zukunftspreis - prize for achievements in technology and innovation - today decided this year’s winners. And the winners are:

"The quality of the applicants was so exceptional that reaching a decision was a real challenge. Finally, we have selected ten outstanding prize-winners who together showcase the economic diversity of the federal state of Brandenburg." said jury member Dr. Ulrich Müller, Head of Business Region Brandenburg/Rügen of EWE ENERGIE AG und President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry East Brandenburg.

 

Winners are honoured for special entrepreneurial ingenuity. The reasoning of the jury is published following the awards ceremony on 11 November 2011. For each winner, a short company film is made, which is premiered at the awards ceremony and may be used for marketing purposes. Winners are featured in the business pages of the Märkischen Oderzeitung newspaper as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s journal FORUM. Additionally, they receive a certificate and a commemorative stele.

The Zukunftspreis is an initiative of the Märkische Oderzeitung newspaper and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry East Brandenburg. This is the 8th year it has been awarded, supported by renowned patrons. The official awards ceremony takes place at Schloss Neuhardenberg stately home on 11 November. Directly afterwards, applications may be made for the Zukunftspreis 2012.
