The company is awarded the Brandenburg Zukunftspreis because it enriches seafaring worldwide with innovative hard and software products for the maritime industry.

The rapid turnover and employee growth is impressive: only founded in 2006, the company has made a name for itself in a very short time. High technology from Brandenburg "sails" the seas of the world: Veinland GmbH develops and produces systems for the transfer of navigation data and for the loading processes of container ships. Despite it’s international orientation, the company is true to its roots, preferring to work with regional vendors.

Veinland shows in exemplary fashion how a company in a difficult market segment can be successful. A member of the jury writes: "Good example of how innovative value-added is possible regardless of location when ideas and know-how are intelligently combined."
